What am I looking at?

A real network, training as you watch. Each ring is a layer: five inputs, two hidden layers of seven, four softmax outputs. Your pointer is the input vector. Cyan pulses are the forward pass; indigo pulses are the gradient flowing back, and one weight update lands per cycle. The curve over each hidden ring is its activation function, plotted from its own definition. It swaps every few cycles and the weights start over.

24 hours to build a private AI for banks

The Innovation Challenge 2026 opened in Landau with every team together, then each team moved to its host company. Mine was Specific-Group, Use Case 13: 24 hours in their Landshut office to build an assistant that answers compliance questions from 50 regulatory documents and cites the paragraph behind every statement, without a byte leaving the bank. The regional press covered it.

A manual cone crimping machine, made automatic. Two IR sensors, an Arduino Nano, three relays and two motors now turn the table, crimp the lid and throw out each ice-cream cone on their own.
